Retentive strength of acid-etched anterior fixed partial dentures: an in vitro comparison of attachment techniques

Acid-etched fixed partial dentures are a rational alternative to other forms of removable prostheses because additional strength and increased resistance to fracture are achieved when the acrylic pontic is bonded with composite resin to natural tooth abutments.
