Validity of health history data collected from dental patients and patient perception of health status

Recently, dental practitioners have recognized the need to be aware of the patient's medical history before proceeding with treatment. However, the validity of the data acquired by the usual means, written questionnaire and dialogue history, has been questioned. A study was made comparing results obtained with the two methods to determine the accuracy of each.
