Dentistry and the issue of hepatitis B

The problem of treating patients with hepatitis B is emphasized with the current influx of refugees from Southeast Asia. Patients with a positive history for hepatitis B are being denied routine dental care at institutions, according to results from a telephone survey conducted with 23 dental schools.
