Residual cysts masquerading as periapical lesions: three case reports
FS Weine
and
LB Silverglade

The presence of this lesion adjacent to a remaining tooth may lead to incorrect, incomplete, or delayed treatment because it mimics a periapical lesion on the retained tooth. Three cases are reported that describe such conditions.
