New Remedies for ‘Without-Cause’ Terminations

The case of Potvin vs. Metropolitan Life Ins. Co., explored in the Dentistry and the Law column in the August issue of JADA, was decided by a California state appeals court, not the U.S. Court of Appeals. Since that column appeared, the California Supreme Court has agreed to review the decision.
