The role and responsibilities of a department of medicine in a school of dentistry

In each school of dentistry there is a place for a department of medicine that can help prepare the dentist to provide dental care for the increasing number of patients with organic disease. The department of medicine can provide consultative services to the medical profession in the dentist's area of specialization.
