Dr. Michael Cochran, Indianapolis, was named editor of Operative Dentistry by the Academy of Operative Dentistry.
Dr. Anna Dongari-Bagtzoglou, San Antonio, received the 1999 Bud and Linda Tarrson Fellowship from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. Dr. Frank Roberts, Seattle, was awarded the 2000 Fellowship. Dr. Stephen Meraw, Rochester, Minn., was chosen as the 1999 Kramer Scholar. Dr. Dominik B. Dubravec, Kankakee, Ill., received the Partners in Practice Clinical Research Grant.
Dr. Lewis Clayman, Detroit, was appointed chairperson of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
