Author’s response

I understand Dr. Katz’s concern about the placement of the implants, which failed. I apologize that the editor was unable to include all of the radiographs that were included in the original manuscript. During time of placement, the osteotomies were carefully performed, and the implants were well-placed.

It is true that, as a case report, we must limit our conclusions. But from the responses we have received, I see we have given the community something to think about and hopefully to pursue.
