There were two errors in the October JADA article "An Alternative Method to Reduce Polymerization Shrinkage in Direct Posterior Composite Restorations" by Simone Deliperi, D.D.S., and David N. Bardwell, D.M.D., M.S.
On page 1394, the second sentence in the last paragraph of the second column should read "We built up each occlusal surface separately without having them contact the opposite cusp and pulse-cured them at 200 mW/cm2 separately for three seconds (Figure 11) before a final polymerization at a higher intensity (30 seconds at 600 mW/cm2)." The initial pulse-cure rate was 200 mW/cm2.
The legend for Figure 10 on page 1395 should read "Figure 10. A and B. Tooth no. 3 after wedge-shaped composite increments of A3.5, A3 and A2 (Vitalescence, Ultradent Products Inc., South Jordan, Utah) shades of the microhybrid composite were used to reconstruct dentin."
