ORAL CANCER TEST

I agree with Dr. Donna Mager that "an early diagnostic test [for cancer] would save lives and reduce the ... problem with late-stage treatment" ("Saliva May Help Diagnose Oral Cancer," May JADA News).

An energetic test utilizing proteomic biomarkers integrin {alpha}5ß1 and oncogene C-fos Ab2 is the most specific and sensitive test for early cancer lesion detection. Identified and developed by Dr. Yoshiaki Omura, this is a chairside test that accurately diagnoses incipient lesions.
