The dentists of this country are losing a gifted thinker, a talented writer and a dedicated professional when Dr. Jeffcoat retires as editor of JADA. I thank you, for myself and on behalf of the many thousands of readers who take for granted the quality and reputation of our [journal].
Our publication has never been more practical, or more impactful, than it is today. Your addition of the Practice Management section, and expansion of the Practical Science section, has made JADA useful to more readers, more often. I admire Dr. Jeffcoats ability to be effective, while simultaneously doing two or three projects, any one of which would overwhelm an ordinary person.
