Dr. Nayra Grau, Chicago, was appointed clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
Dr. Alfred C. Griffin, Warrenton, Va., was elected president of the Virginia Association of Orthodontists. Other officers are Dr. William E. Dr. Carlton V. Horbelt, Lakeland, Tenn., received the Harold Berk Award from Special Care Dentistry and the Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities.
Dr. Bailey N. Jacobson, Chicago, received the Distinguished Service Award from the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Sol Silverman Jr., San Francisco, received the Faculty Research Award from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry.
