Dr. Marc J. Geissberger, Greenbrae, Calif., was appointed chair of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry’s Department of Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Eric Hovland, New Orleans, was elected president of the American Dental Education Association. Other officers are Dr. Kenneth L. Kalkwarf, San Antonio, president-elect; and Dr. Sheila H. Koh, Houston, vice president.
Dr. Dushanka Kleinman, Bethesda, Md., received the Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
Dr. Charles Lucero, Kingman, Ariz., was elected president of the Northern Arizona Dental Society.
Dr. Vangel R. Zissi, Winchester, Mass., was elected president of the USA Section of the American College of Dentists. Other officers are Dr. I.
