CORRECTION

The December JADA cover story, "Managing the Care of Patients With Bisphosphonate-Associated Osteonecrosis: An American Academy of Oral Medicine Position Paper" by Cesar A. Migliorati, DDS, MS, PhD, and colleagues, contained an error. The legend for Figure 4Go was incorrect. The figure is reproduced below with the correct legend.

Figure 4. A patient with multiple myeloma who used pamidronate and zoledronic acid for at least four years sought care at the emergency clinic for severe swelling and pain in the left mandible (A). Palpation of the area suggested a fracture. Intraoral examination revealed an extensive area of osteonecrosis (B). The panoramic radiographs (C and D) show the same area in the mandible during a period of six months, during which time the osteonecrosis progressed to fracture. The fracture was surgically stabilized. It was confirmed that a plamacytoma was present in the area. The patient is receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy in preparation for radiation therapy.
