Dr. Dushanka Kleinman, Bethesda, Md., was awarded the George H. Cushing Award; and Dr. Joseph Massad, Tulsa, Okla., was awarded the Gordon J. Christensen Recognition Lecturer Award by the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Kenneth P. Sobczak, Milwaukee, received the 2005 President’s Award from the American College of Prosthodontists. Other award recipients included Dr. Thomas J. Vergo, Jr., Boston, Distinguished Lecturer Award; Dr. Arthur Nimmo, Gainesville, Fla., Distinguished Service Award; Dr. Stephen M. Parel, Dallas, the Dan Gordon Award; and Dr. Clark M. Stanford, Iowa City, Iowa, Clinician/Researcher Award.
Dr. Kris Volcheck, Phoenix, was named "Dentist of the Year" by the Arizona Dental Association at the 2006 Western Regional Dental Convention.
