Dr. Bruce R. Barnhard, Livingston, N.J., has been appointed clinical assistant professor in the postgraduate Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Dental School.

Dr. Richard N. Goodroe, Snellville, Ga., was named general chairman of the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting.
Dr. Gregory Pafford, Phoenix, and Dr. Douglas McMaster, Tucson, Ariz., were named the Arizona Dental Association’s Dentists of the Year and Dr. Thomas J. Bahr, Phoenix; Dr. Burton E. Becker, Tucson; Dr. William Becker, Tucson; Dr. Roy G. Daniels, Sedona; and Dr. Robert H. Foster, Phoenix, received AzDa’s Hall of Fame Service Award.
Dr. Indru Punwani, Chicago, and Dr. Kent Knoernschild, Chicago, were named Chicago Dental Society Professors at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
Dr. Brenda Taylor, Merrillville, Ind., joined the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor of restorative dentistry.
Dr. Lisa Tedesco, Atlanta, received the 2007 ADEA Distinguished Service Award from the American Dental Educators Association.
