JADA and ADA News received three 2007 EXCEL awards from the Society of National Association Publications (SNAP) in Washington.

The annual competition "recognizes and rewards the exemplary work of association publishers."

JADA won gold awards for cover illustration (July 2006) and design excellence in the scholarly journals category.

ADA News received a bronze award for feature article for newspapers with a readership of more than 50,000. The article, "Educators Respond to Ethical Breach" (December 11, 2006:16–7), was written by Karen Fox, senior editor, ADA News.

"We are very pleased that SNAP continues to recognize JADA and ADA News," said Laura A. Kosden, publisher and managing vice president, publishing division. "This visibility reinforces our ongoing efforts to meet the needs of our readers."

SNAP is a nonprofit, professional society serving the needs of association publishers and communications professionals.
