Author’s response

The area of electrosurgery/ electrocautery is highly confusing in all areas of medicine. A full discussion of the topic could require an entire book. This article was meant only to compare electrosurgery with diode laser. The bottom line is that both work, and that the soft-tissue uses overlap significantly.
