There was an error in the September JADA article "A Comparison of Dental Service Use Among Commercially Insured Women in Minnesota Before, During and After Pregnancy" by Jiang and colleagues (JADA 2008;139[9]: 1173–1180). The article stated that Delta Dental of Minnesota is now known as DeCare, which is an error. DeCare performs administrative services for Delta Dental of Minnesota but is a separate company.
There was an error on page 1230 in the September JADA article "Comparing Anesthetic Efficacy of Articaine Versus Lidocaine as a Supplemental Buccal Infiltration of the Mandibular First Molar After an Inferior Alveolar Nerve Block" by Haase and colleagues (JADA 2008;139[9]:1228–1235). The second sentence in the first complete paragraph in the right-hand column should have read, "The dentist administered a standard IAN block8 with a 27-gauge 11/2-inch needle (Monoject, Sherwood Medical, St. Louis) attached to a standard aspirating syringe and used a cartridge of 4 percent articaine with 1:100,000 epinephrine."
