Dr. Charles Bertolami, New York City, is the new president of the American Dental Education Association, and Dr. Ronald J. Hunt, Richmond, Va., was installed as president elect.
Dr. Michael Miloro, Chicago, is the director of the postgraduate residency training program in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and also was named division chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago.
Dr. John B. Thornton, Birmingham, Ala., received the University of Alabama Birmingham 2008 Odessa Woolfolk Community Service Award.
Dr. Jeffrey Wood, San Francisco, was named president of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
