APPOINTMENTS/ELECTIONS/AWARDS

–Dr. Timothy Cooper, Stevens Point, Wis., received the New Dentist Leadership Award from the Wisconsin Dental Association.

–Dr. Robert Dennison, Saginaw, Mich., was named Clinician of the Year by the Michigan Primary Care Association.

–Dr. Arthur A. Dugoni, Palo Alto, Calif., received the Alan J. Davis Achievement Award from the International Association of Student Clinicians.

–Dr. G. Kirk Gleason, Clifton Park, N.Y., received the Distinguished Service Award from the New York State Dental Association.

–Dr. Philip Grosnick, Watertown, Wis., received the President’s Award of Honor from the Wisconsin Dental Association.

–Dr. Mark Karrels, Janesville, Wis., received the Community Outreach Award from the Wisconsin Dental Association.

–Dr. H. Michael Kaske, Twin Falls, Wis., was elected president of the Wisconsin Dental Association. Other officers are Dr. Kent Vandehaar, Chippewa Falls, president elect; Dr. Eugene Shoemaker, Waukesha, vice president; Dr. Dennis Engel, Mequon, editor; Dr. John R. Moser, Milwaukee, treasurer; and Dr. Michael Donohoo, Wauwatosa, speaker.

–Dr. Lyndsay Knoell, Racine, Wis., received a Political Action Award from the Wisconsin Dental Association.

–Dr. John Reardon, Ashland, Wis., received the President’s Award of Honor from the Wisconsin Dental Association.

–Dr. Ronald Stifter, Saukville, Wis., received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wisconsin Dental Association.

–Dr. Tonya Volk, Skokie, Ill., has joined the orthodontics department of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
